Descripción
The Grove RT890E 90 U.S. ton capacity rough terrain crane has a five-section, full power boom with a maximum length of 142′. Its offsettable bi-fold lattice, swingaway extension has a maximum length of 56′. One of the key features of the RT890E is its MEGAFORM™ boom design. This boom design incorporates a “U-shaped cross-section that provides an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio”, which allows it to lift more in comparison to the traditional square and rectangular booms. Another feature is its removable counterweight. The counterweight and auxiliary hoist on the RT890E is hydraulically removed and installed. This allows for easier hauling. Its Full Vision cab tilts up 20˚, which provides the operator with more comfort when operating at longer boom and extension lengths.
